Before your appointment

When you book TV mounting, we'll ask a few questions: the TV size, the type of wall (drywall, brick, tile), and whether you want cables hidden in the wall. Having that info ready means the pro shows up with the right hardware.

What the pro brings

Your pro will bring all the mounting hardware for standard drywall installations — stud finder, drill, level, wall anchors, and the mount itself (for standard jobs). If you have a specific mount you've purchased, have it out and accessible.

What we need from you

  • The TV (unpacked and accessible)
  • Access to the wall where you want it mounted
  • Any specific mount you've purchased (if applicable)
  • The TV's HDMI cables if you want them connected

The installation process

First, the pro will locate studs in your wall using a stud finder — this is critical for a secure mount. Then they'll mark the mounting position, check it's level, and drill into the studs. The mount bracket goes on the wall, the mounting arms attach to the TV, and then the TV hooks onto the bracket.

Cable management is done last — either routing cables along the wall with covers, or running them inside the wall for a fully clean look (additional work, noted at booking).

Start to finish

Most TV mounting jobs take 30–60 minutes for a standard installation. Add cable-in-wall and it's typically 90 minutes to 2 hours.

After the job

Your pro will test that the TV is secure, demonstrate the tilt/swivel (if your mount supports it), and make sure everything looks right before they leave. You'll get an SMS to rate your experience.
